The mapping and sustainable management of the supply chain place great demands on data processing and the required analyses. Only by using, expanding and validating the supply chain database can the new challenges of external reporting requirements, such as those of the legislator, be met. The abstract risk analysis that has already been carried out provides clear indications of how to prioritize the areas of action and efficiently subject risks to a more in-depth examination. Supply chain management can now focus on preventive measures and remedial measures in accordance with the LkSG.
